Appeared in 23 contests with 15 starts on the season in his debut campaign… Made 56 at-bats with 11 runs, 12 hits, two doubles, one triple and four RBI… Tallied a .286 slugging percentage and a .380 on-base percentage… Recorded four multi-hit games on the season… Registered a season-long streak of seven for reached bases… Made his first collegiate appearance and start against Northwestern (Feb. 17) with one hit and two RBI… Went 3-for-5 with two runs at Ohio (March 2)… Also recorded multi-hit games at Minnesota (March 6) where he went 2-for-4 and against Kansas State (April 25) going 2-for-2 with a run and an RBI-double… Capped off the season going 2-for-5 with a run, an RBI, a double and his first-career triple against Western Illinois (May 18).
