As a Junior in 2011
A transfer from Creighton in her first year at UNO,
earned second-team honors after a terrific season at the plate and behind the plate...started at catcher in all 58 Maverick games...was named MIAA Defensive Player of the Year for her strong arm, which she used to gun down eight runners attempting stolen bases...hit .320 with 10 home runs and 41 RBIs...led the Mavs with 62 hits...led the team with 22 multiple-hit games...tied for second on the team with 12 multiple-RBI games...had a career-high five RBIs on 2-for-4 hitting against Missouri Southern on March 19...had two two-homer games...named to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-Region Second Team.
..earned All-MIAA Honorable Mention and Defensive Player of the Year.

As a Sophomore in 2010 at Creighton
Started all 60 games for the Blue Jays and hit .199 with seven home runs and 29 RBIs...recorded a team-best .993 fielding percentage among regular starters...had 409 putouts, 43 assists and gunned down 24 runners trying to steal...went 3-for-4 at Wichita State with two RBIs and a run scored on April 11...had a seven-game hit streak from April 3-11.

As a Freshman in 2009 at Creighton
Started 35 of the 42 games in which she appeared, including 29 at catcher and six as the designated player...Went 1-for-2 with an RBI against Texas A&M Corpus Christi in her first start (Feb. 14)...Smashed a pinch-hit, two-run home run against Saint Louis on Feb. 20...Went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and run scored against Indiana State (April 10)...Her six-game hitting streak from April 22-29 was the second longest on the team in 2009...Hit .333 (6-18) during her six-game hitting streak...Gunned down six runners attempting to steal, including three in the last seven games…Started every game as a sophomore catcher…had the highest pick-offs in the Missouri Valley Conference with six.

Four-year letter winner in softball... two-time first-team all-state catcher ... also twice tabbed first-team all-area and first-team all-conference ... Hit .409 as a junior when she was tabbed the honorary captain of the All-State Class A team ... set school record for doubles in a career ... smashed 12 doubles and four triples as a senior when she batted .386.

Born July 31, 1990, in Omaha, Neb., to Mike and Teri Johnson…has two sisters, Kristin and Stacey…majoring in physical education…hopes to become a physical education teach and coach softball…chose UNO because it is close to home and has a good education program.
