Biography

2001-02 Season (Junior):
Averaged 10 minutes per game off the bench while appearing in all 29 games...had two double-figure games, a 10-point performance against Midland Lutheran in a 99-62 win on Nov. 23, and a 12-point outing in UNO’s 84-71 loss to North Dakota on Jan. 25 which tied her career-best.

2000-01 Season (Sophomore):
Played in 25 games overall and started twice, averaging 12 minutes per outing...scored 71 points, a 2.8 average and had 3.1 rebounds per game...recorded a double-double in UNO’s win over College of St. Mary with 12 points and 11 rebounds, and also had three assists in that game.

1999-2000 Season (Freshman):
Saw limited action in her freshman campaign...earned playing time in nine games...averaged 2.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 4.8 minutes per game...recorded a sea­son-high five points on two occasions...scored five points and grabbed a season-high seven rebounds in the Mavericks’ 92-47 win over Minnesota-Morris in first round action of the UNO/O2TV Tournament on 11-26-99...tal­lied five points and two rebounds in UNO’s 89-67 victory over Alaska-Fairbanks in the cham­pi­on­ship game of the UNO/O2TV Tournament on 11-27-99.

High School:
A 1999 graduate from Red Oak (Iowa) High School...a two-time Iowa Class-2A all-state honoree in both bas­ket­ball and volleyball...averaged 24.0 points and 10.0 rebounds dur­ing her senior season...shattered school records for most points in a career (1,361), points in a game (38), and rebounds in a game (19)...a three-time all-con­fer­ence hon­or­ee in basketball...led her team to two-straight run­ner-up fin­ish­es at the Iowa State High School Volleyball Tour­na­ment in 1997 and 1998...a two-time state qual­i­fi­er in track, com­pet­ing in the 4x200 meter re­lay, fin­ish­ing sixth in 1998...named the 1998-99 “West­ern Iowa High School Ath­lete of the Year” by the Omaha World-Herald.
