GREENWOOD, Ind. –– Omaha Men's Basketball junior guard
Grant Stubblefield (Overland Park, Kan.) was named to the College Sports Communicators® Academic All-District Team®, it was announced Tuesday.
In order to be named to the Academic All-District Team®, student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be a sophomore and above, compete in 90% of the institution's games played or must start in at least 66% of the institution's games.
Stubblefield, a business administration major, made 26 appearances with 22 starts for the Maverick this season, shooting 52.1% from the field.
Established in 1952 and selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), Academic All-America is the longest running and premier award for athletic and academic success across championship college sports at all NCAA levels, the NAIA, two-year colleges and Canadian institutions.
