MT. PLEASANT, S.C. - Omaha Women's Golf placed all six golfers in the top 25 this week as the Mavericks finished fourth at the Rivertowne Intercollegiate to kickoff the spring semester of competition.
Emily Karmazin was the top finisher for Omaha, carding scores of 75, 79 and 78 (230) to finish in 12th. Karmazin logged six birdies over the 54-hole, two-day event.
Right behind her was
Katie Ruge in T13 at 232. Ruge's second-round 74 (+2) was the low round of the tournament for Omaha.
High Point won the six-team event with a team score of 897 (+33) and Charleston Southern's Eugenie Varet took home individual medalist honors with an even 216 (73-71-72).
Omaha returns to action on Friday, March 6 at the SUU Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational in St. George, Utah.
