MESA, Ariz. –– Omaha Women's Golf finished seventh of eight competing teams Tuesday after the 54-hole Summit League Championships, held at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona.
South Dakota State took the team title with the Jackrabbits' McKenzie Mages winning the individual championship.
Emily Karmazin, fresh off a runner-up finish at the Stampede at the Creek, led Omaha with a 13th place finish. Four Mavericks finished in the top 30. Karmazin moved five leaderboard spots on the final day.
Jasmine Yang paced Omaha in Tuesday's final round, finishing T13 along with
Katie Ruge after the duo posted identical T20 finishes after carding 1-over rounds of 72. Their final round scores marked the low on the week for Omaha.
Macarena Terron Garcia carded Omaha's lone eagle of the championship, coming in Tuesday's round on No. 18.
Omaha golfers made birdie 22 times this week with 152 pars recorded.
