SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –– For the third time this season and the fifth in her Omaha Women's Golf career, senior Katie Ruge has been named the Kwik Star Summit League Peak Golfer of the Week, it was announced Thursday.

Ruge capped Omaha's regular-season with a three-stroke win at this week's Stampede at the Creek, hosted by the Mavericks at Indian Creek. Ruge carded rounds of 69 (-3), 78 (+6) and 73 (+1) to seal the win as Omaha finished second as a team battling windy conditions on the links.

Ruge tallied eight birdies in her 54 holes played to pick up her second individual crown of the campaign. Ruge now has four wins since joining Omaha last season.

The Mavericks are set to begin play in the 2026 Summit League Championships, beginning April 26 in Mesa, Arizona.
