SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Omaha Swimming and Diving senior Stefan Varga (Stockholm, Sweden) was named the Summit League's Kwik Star Peak Swimmer of the Week, it was announced Tuesday, after a dominant performance against Saint Louis last week.

During Omaha's victory over Saint Louis, Varga (Stockholm, Sweden) claimed three first-place finishes (100 back, 200 back and 400 FR), while placing second in the 200 MR.

"Stefan did a great job of racing tired and executing to the very end," said Omaha head coach Jessica Hessel "He took care of what was needed to secure event wins for our team. This was a hard-fought accolade that should mean a little more this time around."

Omaha returns to action Friday, Jan. 23 against South Dakota at H&K Pool in Omaha, Neb.
