OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Women's Soccer (3-4-3) played to a 1-1 draw with (RV) Colorado State Friday evening at Caniglia Field to close out non-conference play.
In the 19th minute, junior defender
Jasmyn Brown (Wichita, Kan.) finished off a corner kick from junior defender
Grace Bartlam (Rosemount, Minn.) to log her first career goal and put
Tim Walters' side on the board early in the opening half. The score was Brown's first collegiate goal, and the fourth Bartlam assist of the 2025 campaign.
In the 71st minute, junior defender
Emma Hampton (Urbandale, Iowa) fired a shot on frame, though Colorado State goalkeeper Gray Willson made the save. With two minutes remaining, Mia Casey netted the equalizer for the Rams after a rocket off the boot of Kacie Laurie ricocheted off the crossbar an found its way through traffic.
Through 10 fixtures in 2025, 11 different Mavericks have scored.
Senior goalkeeper
Charlotte Huggard (Plymouth, Mich.) appeared in her sixth match of the season, recording six saves on nine shots faced.
The Mavericks will begin Summit League play in Fargo, N.D., against North Dakota State on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. CT live on the Summit League Network.
