OMAHA, Neb. - Senior Ethan Smith's 54-hole 5-under 211 was enough to propel the Omaha men's golf newcomer into T5 Tuesday, helping secure a fourth-place at the Bluejay Invitational, hosted by Creighton at Shadow Ridge Country Club.

Smith carded Omaha's first eagle of the season, shooting a three on No. 16 in Monday's second round. The Doniphan, Neb. native added 12 birdies in his second start as a Maverick.

Gretna, Neb. product senior Nolan Johnson carded the Mavericks' low round of the week, a 68 in in Tuesday's final round.

Freshman Will Barth made his Omaha debut as an independent, finishing T33 at 4-over. The Omaha native carded rounds of 76, 76 and 68 to finish the week at 220.

Omaha's fourth-place finish is the Mavericks' highest since the squad finished the 2025 Twin Oaks Intercollegiate in T3.
