OMAHA, Neb. (June 2, 2025) - Omaha volleyball's 2025 non-conference schedule was revealed Monday. The Mavericks, coming off an NIVC second round appearance a season ago, open the campaign at Baxter Arena with a pair of matches against Milwaukee on Aug. 29-30.
Omaha then heads to Houston for a three-day event hosted by the Cougars with
Matt Buttermore's Mavericks facing LSU (Sept. 4), Houston (Sept. 5) and San Diego State (Sept. 6).
The Mavericks head to Iowa State after the Texas trip for two matches in Ames, Iowa, first against Saint Louis on Saturday, Sept. 13 followed by a Sunday, Sept. 14 matchup with the Cyclones.
Omaha volleyball closes the non-conference portion of the schedule at home, welcoming South Florida on Friday, Sept. 19 and Kansas on Saturday, Sept. 20.
Summit League play commences on Thursday, Sept. 25 in Brookings, S.D., with the Mavericks taking on South Dakota State. Omaha's first home match of the league slate comes on Thursday, Oct. 2 against North Dakota.
