Ruge earns All-Tournament Team nod as Mavericks end Summit League Championships 7th

MESA, Ariz. - Sophomore Katie Ruge carded rounds of 74, 72 and 69 to finish the Summit League Championships tied for fifth place as she finished the 54-hole event 4-over-par.

Omaha finished the eight-team event in seventh place, reaching as high as fifth after the first 18 holes. Macarena Garcia Terron was inserted into Victoria Grasso's lineup for the final leg of the event and finished with a team-high five birdies over the last 18 holes.

Denver captured its sixth-consecutive title and South Dakota's Ava Schroeder posted the low round of the tournament with a 66 (-5) in her final round, which was tied for the third lowest 18-hole score in tournament history.

The Pioneers' Clara Gestsdottir won back-to-back Championship MVP nods, finishing with a 209 (-4) total, which was the second lowest three-round score in tournament history.

Omaha finished 2-under-par on par-5 holes, averaging 4.96 strokes as a team.

Victoria Grasso's Mavericks conclude the 2024-25 season having captured a remarkable three team titles. Ruge took home two individual crowns this season.
