The day started off well enough for the Mavericks as they claimed the doubles point. After dropping the first match, Omaha came back to take the next two as
Mikhail Korkunov and
Bryan Kuntz came back to win it in tiebreakers 7-6 (7-4), followed by another come from behind tiebreaker victory from
Ethan Gaubert and

The Mavericks were not as fortunate in the singles round, though, as UND won the first four matches in straight sets to claim victory on the day.
Caleb Peterson was able to notch the team's lone singles win. After he and his opponent each took a set 6-3, the two played a lengthy tiebreaker that saw Peterson roar all the way back from a 6-2 deficit as he scored eight of the next 10 points to win the set and the match.
