Box Score CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Mavericks wrapped up their four-game stretch against the Big East with a 5-2 loss to Xavier on the road today in their first two-straight matches in Ohio.

Omaha is now 4-6 on the season after going 1-3 against Big East opponents. Meanwhile, the Musketeers grow their win streak to five and end the week at 7-6.

After dropping the first doubles match, Omaha's top duo of Mikhail Korkunov and Bryan Kuntz once again pulled through with a come-from-behind 7-5 victory over Ryan Cahill and Pascal Mosberger. The Mavericks secured the doubles point as Mikel Garmendia and Ethan Gaubert came out to a 5-4 lead. Christian Gonzalez and Kyle Totorica, though, came back and won the final three points to take the match and the doubles round.

Korkunov and Kuntz would log both of the team's singles wins as well. Mikhail and Cahill traded blows in the first two sets as each picked up a 6-1 win. In set number three, Korkunov began pulling away midway through and did not let up en route to a 6-4 victory. As for Kuntz, he also went the distance against his opponent, narrowly falling 7-6 on the first set before completely taking control of the court over the final two sets, winning each one 6-2 to claim Omaha's second point of the day.
