BROOKINGS, S.D. – (6) Omaha Volleyball's 2025 season comes to an end with a 3-0 loss to St. Thomas in the first round of the Summit League Championship on Sunday.
Senior
Kali Jurgensmeier (Wahoo, Neb.) tallied 10 kills with two assisted blocks for a total of 11 points in the match. Freshman
Faith Venable (Lincoln, Neb.) led the Mavericks in scoring with 11.5 points with 11 kills and one assisted block.
Junior
Emily Huss (Fairbury, Neb.) tallied six assisted blocks against the Tommies. Omaha recorded six team blocks in the match.
The Mavericks end the year with a 10-16 record and a 7-9 conference mark.
Head coach
Matt Buttermore ends the season with a career record of 292-137. At Omaha, he is 114-84.
