OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Volleyball is set for a rare one-match week with a face off against South Dakota State at home on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. CT.
 
The Mavericks (7-12, 4-6 Summit League) will face the Jackrabbits (16-3, 10-0) in a rematch of a five-setter that took 2.5 hours. Back in September, Omaha won the second and third sets of the match while South Dakota State took the first, fourth and fifth to seal the match.
 
Omaha is coming off a successful season sweep of Oral Roberts that saw a 3-0 win at home and on the road.
 
Junior 
Emily Huss (Fairbury, Neb.) was named the Kwik Star Defensive Peak Performer of the Week for the Summit League. Huss has led the conference in blocks per set (1.58), assisted blocks (96) and total blocks (109). She is ranked sixth in the country in blocks per set.
 
Starting at 6 p.m. CT, kids will be able to trick-or-treat around the concourse of Baxter Arena with Omaha student-athletes and corporate partners.Tickets can be purchased at
