OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Volleyball is back at home to start the second half of conference play with a visit from St. Thomas at 7 p.m. CT on Thursday, Oct. 23 and Oral Roberts at noon on Saturday, Oct. 25.
The Mavericks (6-11, 3-5 Summit League) are coming off a road trip that brought wins over Oral Roberts and Kansas City and a loss to Denver.
St. Thomas (13-6, 6-2) is second in the league standings in their first season eligible for postseason play. When the Mavs and Tommies met in September, UST came away with a 3-1 win over Omaha. The Mavericks lead the series 8-1 all-time and have never lost to St. Thomas at home.
Omaha defeated Oral Roberts (2-18, 0-8) when the two teams met for the first time this season. The Mavs lead 22-3 all-time and are on a 13-match winning streak dating back to
Matt Buttermore's first season as head coach of the Mavericks.
