SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Omaha men's golf junior
Luke Strako was named to the 2024-25 Summit League Player Watch List, it was announced Thursday. An Omaha native, Strako led the Mavericks with a 73.4 stroke average during five fall events. He turned in a pair of top-10 finishes, including a season best runner-up finish at the Throw Down Up Top where he carded a 54-hole total of 215 (-4).
Strako closed the fall slate with a t-10 finish at the ODU/Kilmaric Invitational, which included a season best round of 67 (-4).
The Mavericks were selected ninth in the Coaches' Preseason Poll while North Dakota State was tabbed first with eight of 11 possible first-place votes.
Joey Baldwin's team returns to action to commence the spring semester with the Loyola Intercollegiate on Sunday, Feb. 16 at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz.
The 2025 Summit League Championship will be held from April 27-29 at the Longbow Golf Course in Mesa, Ariz.
