OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha volleyball improved to 2-0 in Summit League action Saturday as the Mavericks finished-off the first week of conference play with a sweep of St. Thomas Saturday (25-15, 25-19, 25-20) in front of 1,322 fans inside Baxter Arena.
Kali Jurgensmeier led the Mavericks in the three-set battle with 13 kills in 27 total attacks, hitting .407.
Ivy Leuck dished 35 assists and
McKenna Ruch contributed five block assists.
Omaha's front row combined for a total 11.0 blocks against the Tommies, the team's second most in a match this season.
The Mavericks hit the road for the first time in league play next Saturday, Oct. 5 for a 6 p.m. CT tilt at South Dakota live on the Summit League Network.
