The Omaha Mavericks picked up their 13th shutout of the season with a 2-0 win over the Kansas City Roos on Sunday afternoon.
The Mavericks are now 32-10 overall and 9-3 in conference play.

How It Happened

Kamryn Meyer recorded the Maverick's first 10 outs with 10 straight strikeouts.
• The Roos were held without a hit until the third inning.
• The Mavericks first hit that came in the fourth inning was an RBI double to left field by
Sydney Thomason. Thomason drove in
Lynsey Tucker who made it on base with a walk then stole second.
• With a 1-0 lead in the fifth,
Lynsey Tucker hit an RBI single to second base. With the Roos making the out at first,
Marra Cramer was able to score from second making it 2-0.
• The Mavericks sealed the win with a quick three up three down top of the seventh.
