The Omaha Mavericks split senior day with the Kansas City Roos, taking game one 1-0 in eight innings and then falling 4-3 in game two.
The Mavericks are now 31-10 overall and 8-3 in conference play.

How It Happened
• Game one was held scoreless through seven innings.
• After one initial hit in the first inning, Kamryn shut down the Roos and didn't allow another hit until the sixth.
• Although the Mavericks were in scoring position in multiple innings they couldn't drive one in.
• With no runs after the first seven, the game went into extra innings.
• In the bottom of the eighth
Maggie O'Brien hit a triple to the center field wall.
Sydney Thomason hit a walk-off RBI single to score O'Brien and take game one.
Game Notes
- Omaha outhit KC 7-3.
- O'Brien and Thomason each went 2-4.

- Meyer was credited with her 19th victory after only allowing three hits and zero runs.
Game Two: Omaha 3, Kansas City 4
How It Happened
• The Mavericks fell behind early. The Roos capitalized on two errors to make it 3-0 in the top of the first.
• KC extended their lead to four in the second with a sacrifice fly to left field.

Alex Olson put the Mavericks on the board in the second with a home run to left field.
•
Ava Rongisch gave the Mavericks another run with a sacrifice fly to right-center in the bottom of the sixth.
• Omaha was within one after a fly out to left field by Olson that drove in Thomason.
• Despite a three-run comeback, the Mavericks couldn't tie it up.
Game Notes
- Olson went 1-2 with one run and two RBIs.
- O'Brien and Thomason were each credited with one run.
