Omaha, Neb.- The Omaha Mavericks defeated crosstown rival Creighton 5-2 on Tuesday night, extending their historic win streak to 15.
The Mavericks improve to a 26-7 overall record and remain undefeated 8-0 on home turf.

Sydney Thomason was quick to get the Mavericks on the board with an RBI double to left field in the bottom of the first.

Kamryn Meyer had another quick three-up three-down inning in the top of the second, keeping the Bluejays to zero hits.

Olivia Aden flew out to center but recorded the RBI after
Alex Olson scored.

Maggie O'Brien hit an RBI single to left field to drive in
Jaelle Johnson, making it 3-0 at the end of the second inning.
- Creighton got on the board in the fifth with a one-run homer to center.
- The Bluejays put up their second run in the sixth with a single down the left-field line.
- The Mavericks ensured the 5-2 win with an RBI double by Johnson and a sacrifice fly in right field by Aden in the bottom of the sixth.
