TULSA, Okla. - Omaha volleyball visits Oral Roberts on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. CT in the second-to-last road game of the campaign for the Mavericks. The match against the Golden Eagles will air on the Summit League Network.
The Mavericks (12-11, 10-2 Summit League) have won five-of-six, including a three-set sweep of ORU on Oct. 19 at Baxter Arena. Omaha is 5-4 on the road in 2024.
Kali Jurgensmeier, the reigning Summit League Offensive Peak Performer of the Week, leads the team with 281 kills overall while
Shayla McCormick's 23 aces paces the Omaha serve.
Omaha has dazzled at the net with 12 or more block assists in each of the last eight matches. In conference action,
McKenna Ruch heads the way with 181 points on 132 kills and 57.0 total blocks.
After the road tilt with Oral Roberts, the Mavericks return home to Baxter Arena in the final homestand of the regular season, hosting Denver on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7 p.m. CT followed by senior night on Saturday, Nov. 16, also at 7 p.m. CT, against South Dakota. Omaha concludes the regular season against the Kansas City Roos on Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. CT before the Summit League Championship gets underway on Nov. 24 in Kansas City.
