St. Louis, MO – The Omaha Mavericks resumed competition against Saint Louis on Friday night. The women won their side of the meet 132.5 to 91.5, however, the men fell in a close 115-109 final.
"It is tough to compete on the same day of longer travel," said head coach
Jessica Hessel. "This was our first competition in a month and knew our team would need to be bold in their racing. I was proud of how our team competed and continued to race no matter how they were feeling. We have one last push of training and will be getting our men and women some much-needed rest for the end of our season. SLU was great to compete against. We are so evenly matched and it makes for a fun competitive environment. I look forward to continuing to have them on our schedule."
