The Summit League has announced its 2023-24 conference schedule. Across the league, conference play will start on Friday, Dec. 29.
The Mavericks will on open conference play on the road where they'll face Denver. The team will then be back at Baxter for their first home game against a conference opponent on Dec. 31 against South Dakota.
After a break from conference play, the team will resume competition against Summit League opponents with a pair of road games. On Thursday Jan. 11 the Mavericks will compete against North Dakota, followed by a game on Jan. 13 against North Dakota State.
The team will then be back home on Jan. 18 to host South Dakota State, who finished first in the Summit League standings last season. After a road contest against Kansas City, the Mavericks will stay at home for two home games. Oral Roberts will be hosted on Jan. 25, followed by Denver on Jan. 27.
Following a weekend off, Baxter will see action for two additional back-to-back home games. The Mavericks will face UND and NDSU on Feb. 8 and Feb. 10, respectively.
The Mavericks will then be faced with a trio of road contests including USD, SDSU and Oral Roberts.
To close out conference play, the Mavericks will host Kansas City on Feb. 24 and St. Thomas on Feb. 29.
The 2024 Summit League Basketball Championships will be held March 8-24.
