Lincoln, Neb.--The Omaha men's golf team completed round two of the Summit League Championship at Wilderness Ridge country club on May 1, 2023.
The Mavericks scored 299 in the second round and have a 36-hole total of 608 with one round remaining. Omaha currently holds fifth place, sitting three strokes behind North Dakota State, which holds fourth place after a two-round score of 605. Denver leads the Summit League Championship with a score of 593 so far.
Kurtis Rodriguez added a second-round score of 73 (+2) for a two-day score of 149. Rodriguez shares fifth place on the leaderboard and is five strokes behind the leader with 18 holes remaining. Mathew Halvorson jumped into the top-15 after a second-round score of 74 (+3). Halvorson shares 13th place with a two-day total of 151.
Carter Doose shares 23rd place with a 36-hole score of 154. Doose recorded a score of 76 (+5) in the second round. Nolan Johnson also scored 76 (+5) in round two and sits a stroke behind Doose with a score of 155. Johnson shares 26th place with Connor Wilson, who has a total score of 155 after a round two score of 77 (+6).
