Lincoln, Neb.-- The Omaha men's golf team finished round one of the Summit League Championship on Sunday, Apr. 30 at Wilderness Ridge country club in Lincoln.
The Mavericks hold sixth place after an opening round score of 309. They sit a stroke behind North Dakota State, which is in fifth place after a score of 308. Kansas City leads the conference tournament with a score of 301 on day one.
Kurtis Rodriguez leads the team and is in 11th place after a round one score of 76 (+5). Mathew Halvorson is a stroke behind Rodriguez, and shares 15th place with a score of 77 (+6).
Connor Wilson and Carter Doose share 20th place after matching first round scores of 78 (+7). Nolan Johnson finished the first round a stroke behind Doose and Wilson and is tied for 29th place with a score of 79 (+8) over the first 18.
