Omaha, Neb.--The Summit League announced the 2023 women's golf All-League teams on Friday, with Nicole Hansen earning a spot on the All-League honorable mention team. 

Hansen, a redshirt senior from Bloomingdale, Ill., has played in all 27 rounds of golf in her first season with Omaha. With only one event remaining on the schedule, Nicole has the third-best season scoring average in program history at 77.5. She has led the team in five of 10 events throughout the season, including both of the last two tournaments.  

Hansen has played well all year, and the results have started to show near the end of the season. In the Mavericks' last event, the Stampede at the Creek, Nicole earned a top-10 finish with a three-round score of 227. Two events ago at the WIU Invitational, Hansen earned the first individual medal of her career, taking first place with a 54-hole total of 221. 

Hansen and the Mavericks will look to keep this good streak of golf going at the Summit League Championship at Wilderness Ridge golf course in Lincoln, Nebraska. Action from the capital city begins on Sunday, Apr. 23.
