Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Omaha Mavericks Men's Tennis team went 1-1 last weekend defeating Georgetown at home on Friday night and falling to Arkansas on the road, Sunday afternoon. Full results from the weekend are listed below.

"We weren't at 100% this weekend, but proud of how the guys fought through," Omaha head coach Matt Barlow said. "We are to the point where we don't fear the  p5 schools and feel like we belong on the same court. That's a good feeling. Looking forward to a weekend off to get healthy, before we take on Nebraska."

On Friday, the Mavericks dropped the doubles point but picked up four of six singles matches to secure the win over Georgetown. Mikhail Korkunov, Ethan Gaubert, Hugo Piles Ballester and Quintan Van Wijk all won in straight sets to pick up the four points needed for victory. After Friday's victory, Omaha went South down to Arkansas to take on the No. 31 Razorbacks. The Mavericks defeated the Razorbacks in doubles with the duo teams of Hugo Piles Ballester/Alvaro Quintana and Ethan Gaubert/Ryoma Mishiro. Quintant Van Wijk won his singles match 6-4, 6-7 (2-7), 1-0 (10-8) to secure another point for Omaha.

The Mavericks will have the week off to rest and regroup before heading to Lincoln to take on the Huskers on March 11.
