Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Omaha Mavericks went 1-1 last weekend. They were narrowly edged in a rivalry match with Creighton, 4-3. They bounced back on Sunday morning defeating Pratt Community College 6-1. Full scores from the weekend are below.

"Always tough losing a rivalry match, especially when it comes down to the wire," Omaha head coach Matt Barlow said. "We learned a lot from the match. It is only motivating us moving forward, so even though it stings there are some positives to take out of it."

After a completive and down to the wire match with the Bluejays, the Mavericks responded with a victory over the Pratt CC Beavers. Davis Lawley, Ryoma Mishiro, Quintan Van Wijk, Hugo Piles Ballester and Alvaro Quintana secured the singles points for the Mavericks. The doubles teams of Ethan Gaubert/Ryoma Mishiro, Davis Lawley/Hugo Piles Ballester and Alvaro Quintana/Quintan Van Wijk swept the doubles matches to capture the doubles point on Sunday. Omaha improved to 7-3 with the victory.
