The Omaha Men's Tennis team looks to continue their winning ways this weekend when they take on the Creighton Blue Jays and Pratt Community College Beavers.
"Creighton has got a really deep and solid team this year. It's always a close match, and the crowd and rivalry itself makes it such a fun match for the guys," Omaha head coach Matt Barlow said. "
The Mavericks are currently riding a five-match winning streak and are 6-2 on the 2023 campaign. Creighton is also riding a winning streak at the moment winning their last three matches. The Beavers have only played one match this year. They were narrowly edged 4-3 by Emporia State.
Pratt CC is in its 2nd year of competition and their coach Jeret Johnson is doing a great job. Looking forward to establishing a competitive relationship with their team which will continue to grow stronger in the upcoming years," Barlow said.
Friday's match against Creighton will be played at Hanscom Tennis Courts, home of the Blue Jays. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m. You can follow the action via live stats updates
