The Omaha Mavericks Cross Country squad has one final race before putting the wraps on their 2023 campaign. Stillwater Oklahoma will be the spot of Omaha's final race of the season. The Mavericks will march out Kamryn Ensley, Lauren Metzger, Lior Kremer, Katelyn Johnston, Maddie Yardley, Lily Jackson, Emma Hain and Lily Schwartz for their Regional Championship roster.

"In the final moments of the season, amidst the sweat and the cheers, every athlete finds a piece of themselves they never knew existed," Omaha head coach Cliff Cisar said. "We've had a solid year and we are excited to leave it all out there for each other one final time this Fall tomorrow."

The Mavericks have pieced together a strong season up to this point of the season with two top-five finishes and a top-10 finish. The top-five finishes are highlighted by a fifth place finish at the Augustana Twilight Meet to open the campaign and a second place finish at the second annual Omaha Platte River Rumble, two weeks ago. In their second meet of the season, Omaha placed ninth at the difficult Woody Greeno Invitational where their entire top five finished the 5k race in under 18:41.

Last weekend at the Summit League Championships, all five of Omaha's point placers finished in the top 45 of the field as the Mavericks secured a 6th place finish in Brookings, South Dakota.

Tomorrow's action gets underway at 10:30 am from the Greiner Family OSU Cross Country Course.
