OMAHA, Neb. - The first-place Mavericks (12-12, 11-3) will split their final week of the regular season on the road and at home as they take on second-place Denver in Colorado before coming home for the regular season finale and Senior Day vs. South Dakota State.

- Omaha took sole possession of first place in the Summit League over the weekend with decisive victories over Kansas City and St. Thomas, dropping just one set between the two matches. With a bye next week, the Mavericks can clinch the Regular Season title and the No.1 seed in the Summit League Tournament if they win out.
- Rachel Fairbanks, who will be Omaha's lone participant in Senior Day this year, put up the greatest performance of her career at Kansas City when she posted 20 kills and 23 digs, both personal bests, to earn her fifth straight double-double and become the first Maverick in over a year to top 20 kill and 20 digs in a single match. Her 188 digs in conference play are the fifth most in the league.
- Emily Huss continues to perform at an elite level at the net as she blocked 13 shots over the weekend, including 10 vs. Kansas City. Her 1.50 blocks per set are still the most in the league.
- After missing nearly two months, Kali Jurgensmeier made her long-awaited return to the lineup on Thursday and made an immediate impact, getting 10 kills, two digs and a block. She would add seven more kills on Saturday.
- McKenna Ruch passed 300 total blocks in her career last week after recording seven. She also had 24 kills, putting her at 787 in her career. Entering the week, Ruch ranks in the top 10 in the conference in hitting percentage (.323), total blocks (52), and kills (154).
Scouting Denver
The Pioneers fell out of a tie with Omaha last week after a 2-3 loss to Kansas City bumped them to 10-4 in the conference and a game behind the Mavericks.
Pioneers To Watch
Denver's top player is graduate student outside hitter Cassie Davis who leads the league in conference-only points (222), is fourth in kills (187), and seventh in aces (18). Fellow graduate student Cadi Boyer is just ahead of Davis in aces with 21, as well as placing in the top five in blocks (62) and hitting percentage (.344).
Senior middle blocker Molly Mirabelli slots in at second in hitting percentage at .383, as well as second in blocks at 68.
Series History
Omaha extended its win streak over Denver to five straight after sweeping the first meeting this year. The Mavericks still trail 8-19 all-time though.
Scouting South Dakota State
The Jackrabbits are the likely No. 6 seed to qualify for the Summit League Tournament after going 1-1 last week to move to 6-7 in the conference.
Jackrabbits To Watch
Freshman Sylvie Zgonc and sophomore Katie Van Egdom pace SDSU in conference kills with both placing in the league's top five (Zgonc with 189 and Van Egdom with 176).
Defensively, freshman outside hitter Stella Winterfeld leads the team with 207 digs, good for fourth in the league, while redshirt sophomore outside hitter Sydni Schetnan is ninth in the Summit with 47 total blocks.

Omaha moved to 51-21 all-time and 16-7 in the D1 era over SDSU following the team's 3-1 win back in October.
