Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 | Box Score 3 The Omaha Men's Tennis Team opened up their 2023 season this weekend with a trio of road matches. They secured a 4-0 victory over Lamar University in their first match of the year then fell to Oklahoma State and Wichita State to close out the weekend. Full results from all three matches are below.

"It was a great first weekend for us. Our inexperience showed in some spots, but we learned a lot about ourselves and what we need to improve on going forward," Omaha head coach Matt Barlow said. "We left it all out there and that's all I can ask for from the guys. Looking forward to building on this in Chicago next week."

The doubles teams of Ethan Gaubert/Ryoma Mishiro and Hugo Piles Ballester/Quintan Van Wijk secured the doubles point for the Mavericks while Van Wijk, Ballester and Davis Lawley took home the singles points for Omaha against Lamar.

The Mavericks will be back in action next weekend when they head to Chicago to take on the University of Chicago Illinois and Chicago State University.
