OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha Mavericks played to their second straight draw Sunday afternoon.
Cece Behrens netted the equalizer in the 87th minute to force a tie with Missouri, 1-1.
With the draw, Omaha is 1-1-2 overall.
How It Happened
- Sunday's match got off to a slow start for both teams with only two shots recorded in the first 15 minutes.
- Missouri managed to score on its first shot on goal attempt from Milena Fischer in the 18th minute. It was the lone targeted shot until the 35th minute when Kylee Simmons forced a save by Mia Reedtz Rehde Olesen
- Omaha only saw two off-target shots in the first half. One from Emilie Erland in the 14th minute and one from Grace Ostergaard with under 10 seconds left in the half. Missouri led 1-0 at the break.
- The Tigers recorded four shots to start the second before Grace Thede took Omaha's first of the half in the 73rd minute.
- In the 78th, Behrens put the first on goal but was saved by Belle Hollenback.
- Behrens connected on her next attempt 10 minutes later to knot the match 1-1. Grace Crockett's corner kick led to a header in the box from Behrens for the goal.
- The match resulted in a tie with neither team taking another shot in the half.

- The Tigers out shot the Mavericks, 13-5.
- Behrens was the lone Maverick with multiple shots. Both of her attempts were on goal.
- Reedtz made three saves between the pipes. She improves to 1-1-2 on the season.
- Ava Blum and Emma Nylund made their career debuts for Omaha. Blum logged 19 minutes and Nylund seven.
