OMAHA, Neb. - The Mavericks closed exhibition play Wednesday night with a 1-0 win vs. the visiting Bulldogs from Drake. The teams played three 30-minute periods at Caniglia Field. 
Emilie Erland netted the game-winner in the 72nd minute.
How It Happened
	- The first shot of Wednesday's action came right at the one-minute mark with a powerful strike from Reagan Bourgeois that went just north of the post. It was the lone attempt of the first period as the teams looked to find their rhythm.
- Drake had its first look in the 41st minute on a wide shot from Meghan Brown.
- In the 51st minute, Layla Kelbel and Lauren Kullberg had a pair of shots back-to-back. Kelbel's was blocked by an Omaha defender. Kullberg gave chase and struck high over the net.
- Erland had a close look in the 53rd minute but Kelti Wise was there for the Drake save.
- Emma Konsmo then made her first save of the game in the 55th minute with a low challenge from Drake's Emma Nagel.
- Lily Overstreet had one more attempt on target in the 60th minute, but the match remained tied, 0-0.
- Omaha put away its first shot on goal of the third period to take a 1-0 lead. Erland set up on a free kick just outside the top center of the box. She beat the keeper in the low right of the net for the lead.
- Each team tallied one final shot on goal in the final 10 minutes but saves were made on both ends of the pitch. Mavericks win, 1-0.
Inside the Box Score
	- Omaha outshot Drake, 9-8.
- The teams were tied, 3-3, in shots on goal.
- Bourgeois, Erland, and Morgan Fenton tallied two shots each. 
- Both of Erland's were on goal.
- Mia Reedtz Rehde Olesen made the start in goal. Konsmo played the final 60 minutes and recorded all three Omaha Saves.
