Omaha coach Matt Barlow has announced that Daniel Green will join the Maverick roster this fall.

The 6-foot-6 Green is coming to Omaha after graduating from West Boca Raton (Fla.) High School and will arrive with an associate's degree in business administration from Palm Beach State College.

"We are excited to get Daniel here on campus in the fall," Omaha coach Matthew Barlow said. "Daniel has proven to be a smart and hardworking kid by attaining an associates degree and playing high level tennis at the same time during high school. We are looking forward to seeing him continue to build on his academic and tennis career here as a Mav!"

Barlow said Green has been highly ranked in Florida for multiple age groups and is in the top 100 nationally for boys 18s. He'll join a Maverick roster that used freshmen regularly in its 2022 lineup.

Omaha finished 9-15 in dual competition this spring, a season that included wins over local rivals Creighton and Nebraska. The Mavericks narrowly missed qualifying for the Summit League tournament.
