MADEIRA BEACH, Fla. – The Mavericks shutout Georgia Souther, 3-0, to conclude the Florida Spring Games Sunday morning. 
Kamryn Meyer retired 10 batters to earn her sixth win of the season.
 
Omaha improves to 11-7 overall.
 
How It Happened
	- Omaha's first hit came in the first inning on a single from Lynsey Tucker, but the Mavericks wouldn't find home until the fifth inning.
- Rachel Weber led off the fifth with a double to right field. Olivia Aden joined her on the base path after being walked in the next at-bat.
- Weber was advanced to third on a sac bunt from Maggie O'Brien allowing Weber to score on a passed ball. Omaha went up 1-0.
- Izzy Eltze then used a sac fly to score Aden, and Omaha took a 2-0 lead out of the fifth.
- The Mavericks added another in the sixth. It was Lexi Burkhardt's turn to lead off with a double. She scored three batters later on a fielder's choice situation. Omaha wins, 3-0.
Inside the Box Score
	- Meyer's 10 strikeouts marks the fifth game this season the junior pitcher has retired at least 10 in a game.
- The Mavericks tallied six hits. 
- Burkhardt led the squad with two.
- This is the eighth shutout of the season.
