Box Score Omaha remained hot on the court to open its three-match weekend.

The Mavericks claimed their third consecutive victory by beating Chicago State 6-1 at the Miracle Hill Tennis Center. Omaha had five straight-set singles win and claimed the doubles point in the victory.

The Cougars picked up their lone win when Pedro Alvarez edged Matt Hulme at No. 1 singles.

Davis Lawley, Todd Chen, Hugo Piles Ballester and Victor Sklenka all won in both singles and doubles.

Omaha will put its winning streak on the line Saturday against UIC at 1:30 p.m.
