Mavericks Tune-Up at Nebraska for Summit League Championships

Feb 18, 2022

Lincoln, Nebraska - The Omaha track and field team competed Friday at the Nebraska Tune-Up in preparation for the 2022 Summit League Indoor Championships, held next weekend in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

"This is always a fun meet to come to since we're usually performing well right before the conference championships," said head coach Chris Richardson. "I lost track of the amount of season and personal bests since there were too many.  That's a good problem to have.  Now we carry that momentum into next week.  Nothing changes from now until then.  It doesn't matter if we're in practice, warming up or in competition, the goal stays the same."
