DENVER, Colo. - The Mavericks played Denver Saturday morning in their second conference outing of the season. The Pioneers took a 7-0 win to hand Omaha the loss. The Mavericks fall to 8-11 (0-2) on the year.
"Tough day today. Though, compared to the last two matches we played, we were able to compete and battle with Denver," said head coach

The Pioneers took an early 1-0 edge after capturing the doubles points with wins at No. 2 and 1 to start the match.
Madison Gallegos and
Ines Absisan battled at the No. 1 line, but ultimately fell 6-3 to Britt Pursell and Camille Anderson.
Denver swept the singles match-ups to clinch a 7-0 win. Gallegos put up a fight for Omaha in No. 1 singles. Riedmiller took the first set, 6-3. Gallegos nearly forced a third set, but Riedmiller came away 7-5 in the second.
Omaha returns to action with a home match vs. South Dakota on Wednesday, April 7. It's set to start at 3 p.m.
