DES MOINES, Iowa. – The Mavericks traveled to Drake for a Friday night contest with the Bulldogs. Omaha battled taking three of the singles matches to a third set, but Drake prevailed and won the match, 7-0.
The Mavericks fall to 5-4 on the year.
"We battled hard today. One of the better matches we've played this year," said head coach

Madison Gallegos and
Ines Absisan fell first, 6-3, while
Colby Kelley and
Brooke Covington fell next, 7-6.
The Bulldogs went on to take every singles point. Gallegos and Kapelevich fell at the No. 1 and No. 4 singles to give Drake an early 3-0 lead, but Absisan,
