"Tough result today. We competed really well, but Grand Canyon was just a bit better than us," said head coach
Adam Summitt. "We had some real bright spots, mainly in the doubles matches. We played some amazing doubles this weekend and need to capitalize on that. Madison played one of her best matches I've seen since she's arrived at Omaha. A lot to build on and go get ready for Marquette."
The Mavericks will be back in action with a home match vs. Marquette next weekend. The match is set to start at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 6.
