SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Summit League has announced the cancellation of Thursday's women's basketball contest between Omaha and Kansas City due to COVID-19 protocols.
 
The league has adjusted the forfeit policy announced prior to the season due to the rise in cases across the country with the games now counting as a no contest.
 
Omaha will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 1 vs Oral Roberts. Tipoff is 1 p.m. at Baxter Arena.
