OMAHA, Neb. – Despite not allowing a shot on goal, the Omaha women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss vs. Missouri State on Saturday afternoon at Caniglia Field.
The Mavericks fall to 1-6-1 while the Bears jump to 6-2-1 on the season.

How It Happened
- Missouri State sent a free kick into the box that was intended to be cleared out on a header by a Maverick defender, but it landed in the back of the net for an own goal to give the Bears a 1-0 lead.
- Andrea Daves fired a strike from about five yards out of the center of the box in the 73rd minute that landed in the arms of the MSU keeper to keep the match at 1-0.
- In the following minute, Bailey Cascio retrieved a cross from the right side and attempted to sneak a line drive inside the near post, but the Bear goalkeeper denied the game-tying chance.

- Cascio paced the Maverick offense with three shots, including two on target.
