DES MOINES, Iowa – For the second consecutive season, sophomore
Tabitha Allberg netted the game-winning goal vs. Drake as the Frisco, Texas, native tapped in the golden goal in the 96
th minute off a corner kick to give the Mavericks a 1-0 win on Tuesday night.
The victory pushes Omaha to 2-6-1 on the season while the Bulldogs drop to 3-6-1.

How It Happened
- The Mavericks and Bulldogs played an even first 45 minutes while both teams attempted five shots apiece.
- The Drake offense benefited with the wind at its back in the second half as the Bulldogs recorded an 8-2 advantage in shots over UNO in the second half.
- Bailey Cascio's attempt to play the ball into the box from the left side was blocked by a Drake defender and deflected out of play, causing a Maverick corner kick.
- Thiem played the corner kick into the middle of the box where a crashing Allberg deflected the ball into the lower right corner of the box for the second overtime road victory of the season.
