OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 setback vs. Denver on Thursday night at Caniglia Field.
The loss drops the Mavericks to 4-9-1 (1-3-0) while the Pioneers improve to 6-4-3 (2-0-1).

How It Happened
- The Pioneers jumped out to a quick lead in the second minute when Omaha goalkeeper Erin Bunker misplayed a ball sent towards the net, allowing Camryn MacMillan to tap in the score into open net.
- Andrea Daves took Omaha's first shot in the 11th minute, but her attempt flew left of the goal.
- Denver doubled its lead in the 63rd minute when Natalie Beckman scooped a loose ball on the box and found the back of the net.
- Omaha's second and final shot of the match came in the 82nd minute when Brylie Meyer's attempt sailed high of the net.
