OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's soccer team fell 2-0 on Senior Day vs. South Dakota State on Sunday afternoon at Caniglia Field.
The Mavericks fall to 4-8-1 (1-2-0) while the Jackrabbits improve to 11-3-0 (3-0-0) on the season

How It Happened
- Omaha goalkeeper Erin Bunker denied SDSU's first attempt in the 15th minute when Leah Manuleleua struck the ball towards the net from the top of the box.
- The Jackrabbits grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute when Maya Hansen received the pass on the left side from the center and placed the ball into the back-right side of the goal.
- SDSU doubled its lead in the 30th minute when Eden Brooker stole the ball from the Maverick defender and scored into the top left corner of the goal from top of the box.
- Omaha's Amanda Rapaduski tried to cut the deficit in half in the 33rd minute, but her chip shot landed wide left of the goal.
- The Mavericks nearly scored its first goal early in the second half when Abby Meader flicked the ball towards the net off a loose ball from a free kick by Jaden Thiem, but the shot went just wide of the net in the 55th minute.
