LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Omaha men's golf team is in 13th place after the first two rounds of the UALR First Tee Classic on Monday.
The Mavericks posted team scores of 306 and 308 for a total of 614. Lipscomb leads the event at the Chenal Country Club with a score of 589. Central Arkansas is second at 595, and Tennessee Martin is third at 596.
Junior
Ben Maskus continued his strong play with rounds of 76 and even-par 72 for a total of 148 that has him in 12th place in the 84-player field.
Mitch Ryan is second for the Mavericks and tied for 13th overall with scores of 75 and 74 for a total of 149.
Kevin Gordon started out with a 75 and later posted an 81 to sit third for UNO at 156. He's tied for 58th overall
Cameron MacGregor carded rounds of 80 and 81 for a total of 161 that has him fourth for the Mavericks and 74th overall.
Sam Musch rounded out the scoring with a total of 171 after rounds of 85 and 86.
The final round begins Tuesday at 8 a.m.
