Box Score INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Omaha volleyball team opened its four-game road stretch Friday night at IUPUI, falling 3-0 (21-25, 18-25, 17-25) at The Jungle. The Mavericks are now 5-18 (2-7 Summit League), while the Jaguars improve to 10-14 (6-3).
Senior
Elise Brown led UNO with team highs of eight kills and three blocks while adding six digs and an ace. Junior
Amanda Conlin and freshman
Ellie Brown matched her performance at the net with three blocks apiece, with Conlin adding five kills and Brown chipping in three more.

Ashley Smith tacked on a team-leading 10 digs for the night.
Junior
Sydney O'Shaughnessy posted 20 assists, eight digs and two blocks, a performance that brought her one dig shy of the 1,000 career digs milestone and eight assists away from the 3,000 career assists mark.
IUPUI was led by 14 kills from Kori Waelbroeck and nine each from Elizabeth Scott and Gabby Fisher. The Jaguars held the edge in hitting, .232 to .105, while Omaha had a 6.0-4.0 blocking advantage.
The opening set was neck-and-neck between Omaha and IUPUI, with nine ties bringing it to 13-13 before the Jaguars took four straight points to lead 17-13. A kill by sophomore
Kayla Torson later pulled the Mavericks within two at 18-16, but the Jaguars used a Waelbroeck kill and a Maverick attack error to regain a four-point advantage. Omaha managed to cut it to a two-point margin again at 23-21 after two IUPUI miscues, but the Jags responded with back-to-back kills from Waelbroeck and Scott to cap the set at 25-21.
IUPUI took a 10-4 lead to start the second set, prompting an Omaha timeout. The Mavericks trimmed the Jaguars' lead to 13-10 courtesy of a pair of assisted blocks plus an O'Shaughnessy kill. After IUPUI worked out to an 19-12 edge, the Mavericks rallied with a 4-1 run bookended by blocks from Conlin/O'Shaughnessy and Conlin/
Elise Brown to make it 20-16. Though one more Brown kill brought it to 21-17, the Jaguars finished the game on a 4-1 spurt punctuated with a Logan Walling block and kills from Scott and Alexis Mapes to win 25-18.
IUPUI led the entire third set, going ahead 8-4 to start the game before UNO took a timeout. At 9-6, the Jaguars went on a 6-0 run, which Omaha eventually halted with a Carson kill and an

Elise Brown block. From there, IUPUI went on another run – this time 8-2 -- to go up 23-10. Omaha outscored the Jaguars 7-2 over the final nine points, but IUPUI took the set, 25-17, and the match, 3-0.
